Tallow is sensitive to heat and moisture. Here's how to keep it in its best condition:

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight (e.g., a drawer or cabinet).

• Avoid warm bathrooms or window sills, where temperatures can fluctuate.

• Keep the lid tightly closed to prevent drying or contamination.

🧁 Texture Tips: Why It May Become Chunky

Over time, you might notice your whipped tallow becoming slightly grainy or chunky. This is totally natural and doesn’t mean the product has gone bad.

Here’s why it happens:

• Temperature changes (melting and re-solidifying) cause the fat crystals to reform unevenly.

• Exposure to water or humidity can alter consistency—so always use clean, dry hands.

• Natural ingredients like tallow and oils don’t contain stabilizers, so some variation in texture is normal.

💡 Tip: If you prefer a smoother texture again, you can gently re-melt and re-whip the product at home (we’re happy to give instructions!).

❄️ What to Do If It Changes Texture

If your whipped tallow gets chunky or grainy:

1. Place the jar in a warm water bath until fully melted.

2. Let it cool slightly until it's soft but not liquid.

3. Whip with a hand mixer until fluffy.

4. Store it as recommended above.
